Staff exchange programme brings collaboration and fresh perspectives to schools across the Group

Our staff exchange programme promotes collaboration, skill-sharing and personal growth for our team members. Educators and support staff have the opportunity to spend time at another school within the Forfar Group to share their expertise as well as gain firsthand experience of different teaching methodologies, environments and cultures.

A shining example of this programme is Johanna Robinson, a dedicated Teaching Assistant from Springmead School in Frome, England, who has embarked on a term-long journey to Colégio do Vale in Portugal. Johanna is supporting the Nursery and Kindergarten team, bringing her enthusiasm and expertise to help support the bilingual learning experience for the youngest children at the school.

Of the initiative, HR Director of Forfar Education, Kate Farrell, says “This exchange is a wonderful opportunity to broaden perspectives, build new connections and refine skills that will ultimately benefit students and staff across our schools,” “Johanna’s time at Colégio do Vale is just one example of the many partnerships we’re developing to strengthen collaboration within our group.”
